Ol Pejeta Conservancy
This is where conservation gets personal. Home to the last two northern white rhinos on Earth, it is a place that blends big five game viewing with big-picture purpose. Wildlife is abundant, but the impact of your visit runs even deeper.

Overview
Ol Pejeta Conservancy sits on the Laikipia Plateau, tucked between Mount Kenya and the Aberdares. It is one of East Africa’s most impressive wildlife sanctuaries, known for its rhino conservation, big cats and a landscape where cattle, communities and wildlife coexist. Will’s days here have been shaped by diversity. Morning drives with lion sightings before breakfast, afternoon walks learning about tracking from local guides and evenings hearing the stories behind some of Africa’s most ambitious conservation projects - This is the only place in the world to see the last two remaining northern white rhinos. It is also home to a large population of black rhinos and a healthy mix of elephant, lion, leopard and buffalo. There are even chimpanzees rescued from across Africa now living safely in a sanctuary on site. Ol Pejeta offers more than just wildlife. It offers context, care and connection. Come for the rhinos, stay for the experience.

Best Time to Visit
Ol Pejeta is a year-round destination with strong sightings in every season. The dry months from June to October and January to March are ideal for game drives, walking safaris and photography. Just note that August and September have the knock on effect of migration season in the Mara and tourist numbers rise.
April and May see the long rains and greener conditions. Some roads can be affected, but it is a great time for birds and dramatic skies. November and December bring short rains and a renewed sense of life to the landscape. With strong infrastructure and plenty of experiences on offer, Ol Pejeta remains a flexible and rewarding destination in any month.
