Zambia
Still flying under the radar, but perhaps not for long, Zambia embraces its ability to get guests away from the crowds in to some of the most untouched parts of this stunning continent. First safari or fifth there is something for you here.

Experience
Zambia is where safari slows down and sinks in deep. It’s raw, it’s wild, and it’s where the game-viewing gets real. Will’s spent many hours drifting silently down the Zambezi in a canoe, watching elephants cross in the morning mist and lion calls echoing off the escarpment. The Lower Zambezi is a place for safari-goers who want to feel the bush, not just see it. Days here are spent cruising the river, fishing for tiger fish, and drifting between game drives and sundowners with hippos for company.
Then there’s South Luangwa, the spiritual home of the walking safari. It’s one of those places where you don’t need to chase the wildlife, just step out with a guide and the bush comes alive. With leopards in the trees, wild dogs on the move, and more elephants than you can count, Luangwa has a pulse of its own.
Round it off at Victoria Falls, where the Zambezi tumbles into the abyss in a cloud of mist and thunder. It’s more than just a waterfall, it’s a spectacle, and the perfect end to a Zambian adventure. Whether you’re a first-timer or safari veteran, Zambia has a way of getting under your skin, and staying there.

Best Time to Visit
Zambia’s seasons shape the safari in the best kind of way. Will loves how the bush changes month by month. There is no wrong time to go, just different shades of magic. From June to October it is dry season and prime time for game viewing. Wildlife congregates around waterholes, the bush thins out and sightings in the South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi are off the charts. August and September are Will’s favourites with cool mornings, golden light, and away from the heat of October.
November brings the first rains and a fresh energy to the bush, while December to March is emerald season. It is quieter, greener, and ideal for birding, though some camps close due to rain.
Come April and May, the rains ease, the landscapes are lush, and it is a lovely shoulder season to explore before peak crowds arrive. Will plans Zambia trips around these patterns. Timing is everything.
