Namibia
The most untouched of all the safari destinations Will offers. A country of just two million people stacked with more culture than many on the planet. From nomadic tribes to endless desert vistas, Namibia will change the way you see safaris.

Experience
Namibia is like nowhere else on Earth, and that’s exactly why Will keeps going back. It’s not your classic safari country, and that’s the magic of it. Think shipwrecks swallowed by desert, elephants adapted to sand dunes, and landscapes so vast they make you feel like the last person left on the planet. The Skeleton Coast is wild, windswept and utterly remote, this is where the Atlantic crashes into towering dunes, and game drives feel like expeditions to another world.
Further south, Sossusvlei is Namibia’s desert heart. Will recommends being up before sunrise to climb Big Daddy and watch the dunes light up in soft oranges and pinks. It’s haunting, beautiful, and absolutely silent. There’s nowhere better to disconnect.
Up in the Kunene Region, safari meets culture and conservation. Desert-adapted lions, rhino tracking on foot and encounters with Himba communities make this one of Africa’s most special corners. Will’s worked closely with guides here who know every track and story written in the sand.
Namibia isn’t about ticking off the Big Five—it’s about scale, silence and soul. For those after something different, it doesn’t get better.

Best Time to Visit
Namibia is a country of extremes and its seasons only add to the drama. Will always says that timing your trip here can completely shape the experience. From May to October the weather is dry and cool with clear skies and excellent wildlife viewing. This is the best time to visit places like Etosha and the Skeleton Coast when animals gather around waterholes and the landscape is crisp and photogenic. June and July are cooler, especially at night, while August through October gets warmer and dustier but the sightings are superb.
November marks the start of the summer rains which continue through to March. The desert comes alive with bursts of green and this is a great time for photography and birding though some areas can be hot and humid. April is a lovely transition month with clear skies and a freshness in the air. June and July are Will’s favourites here, but no matter the time of year Namibia will take your breath away.
