Nestled in the heart of the Namib Desert, Wilderness Little Kulala seamlessly blends into the surrounding landscape, reflecting the natural beauty of the region. Each of the eleven thatched ‘kulalas’ (meaning ‘to sleep’ in Oshiwambo) offers en-suite facilities, indoor and outdoor showers, and a private deck with a plunge pool. The rooftop ‘skybed’ provides guests with the opportunity to sleep under the stars in one of the darkest places on Earth, enhancing the stargazing experience. The main lodge features a lounge, dining area, library, wine cellar, and a craft boutique. Wilderness Little Kulala is a year-round destination, each season offering its own unique allure. The cooler months from April to September provide pleasant daytime temperatures and chilly evenings, ideal for outdoor activities and stargazing. During the warmer months from October to March, the desert landscape transforms, with the possibility of rare rainfall bringing ephemeral blooms to the arid environment. Regardless of the season, early morning excursions to Sossusvlei are scheduled to capture the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes, a highlight of any visit.
