Botswana
Botswana is the safari lover’s safari. From gliding through the Okavango Delta in a mokoro to tracking lions in Chobe or stargazing in the stillness of the Kalahari, it is remote, exclusive and deeply wild. A place where nature always sets the pace.

Experience
Botswana is the gold standard of safari. Will has long admired how this country does things differently, prioritising low impact and high quality experiences. It means fewer vehicles, more space and a real sense of immersion in the wild.
The Okavango Delta is the star of the show. A vast inland wetland pulsing with life, it is best explored slowly—by mokoro, boat or game drive. Hippos wallow, elephants wade, and predators thrive in this ever shifting landscape. Will says it is one of the few places where you can feel completely cut off from the world in the best possible way.
To the north, Chobe National Park is famous for its huge elephant herds and riverfront game viewing. Boat safaris here are a real highlight, especially at sunset.
Further south lies the Kalahari, a place of silence, stars and subtle beauty. It is not about ticking boxes but about feeling the rhythm of the desert. For Will, combining these three regions is the ultimate way to see Botswana properly—deep, varied and unforgettable.

Best Time to Visit
Botswana is best visited during the dry season from May to October when water levels in the Okavango Delta rise and wildlife congregates around permanent water sources. June through August offers cooler temperatures, ideal for game drives and walking. September and October are hotter but deliver outstanding sightings, particularly in Chobe and the Delta.
The green season from November to March transforms the landscape with lush vegetation and dramatic skies. While some areas become harder to access, this is a great time for birding and fewer visitors. The Kalahari comes into its own during this period, with desert wildlife and newborn antelope attracting predators.
April and May are shoulder months, offering a mix of green landscapes and improving conditions. Will tailors trips to match what guests are after, whether it is peak Delta magic, predator action in Chobe or a quieter escape into the silence of the Kalahari.
